About the role

• Engineer for decentralized energy supply solutions at HGC Hamburg Gas Consult GmbH. Involves planning, implementation, and supervision of energy projects in Hamburg.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of projects for decentralized energy supply solutions for commercial and industrial clients as well as district supply systems using boiler systems, CHP plants (combined heat and power), cooling systems, heat recovery, heat pumps, ORC systems, steam supply, pellet and wood-fired systems, photovoltaics and solar thermal systems
• Detailed design and permitting planning
• Preparation of cost estimates and bill of quantities/specifications
• Construction/site supervision
• Commissioning coordination and control

Requirements

• You have a completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, Building Services/Utility Engineering or a comparable qualification
• You are flexible, helpful, communicative and a good team player
• You have an independent and self-directed working style
• Confident use of MS Office applications
• Good verbal and written command of the German language
• Willingness to travel for site visits and customer appointments
• Valid driving license (car)
