About the role
- Emergency Area Manager coordinating initial diagnostics and opening operational bases for humanitarian interventions. Aiming to represent and promote HI’s mandate in crisis areas.
Responsibilities
- Coordonner le diagnostic initial en tant que area manager ;
- Coordonner l'ouverture de la base conformément aux procédures et aux objectifs de HI ;
- Représenter et promouvoir le mandat de HI dans le cadre des interventions d'urgence dans sa zone d'intervention.
Requirements
- Vous avez au moins 2 ans d'expérience en tant qu’area manager et/ou responsable des opérations ou poste similaire dans le domaine les urgences ou post-urgences
- Vous avez une expérience confirmée dans la gestion d'équipe, la formation du personnel et le renforcement des capacités dans des situations d'urgence ;
- Vous avez une bonne connaissance des réglementations et des processus des bailleurs de fonds d'urgence, en particulier des politiques des bailleurs de fonds et des procédures opérationnelles liées aux interventions d'urgence ;
- Vous maîtrisez la conceptualisation et le développement d'interventions d'urgence ;
- Une expérience dans l’ouverture de missions/ou de bases est un atout.
- Vous faites preuve d’esprit d’équipe, de sociabilité et un bon leadership.

- Type de contrat : contrat à durée déterminée (CDD) de 18 mois
- Statut cadre: 34 jours de congés payés par an et 13 jours de RTT (réduction du temps de travail)
- Basé à 60 % sur le terrain et à 40 % au siège de HI
