About the role
- Due Diligence Analyst responsible for reviewing financial crime risks in corporate customer onboarding. Collaborating with stakeholders and conducting enhanced due diligence reviews.
Responsibilities
- Complete Enhanced Due Diligence reviews on prospective and existing clients with heightened risk exposure.
- Create presentations on proposals to accept or decline a client based on financial crime concerns
- Manage case volume
- Maintain internal records on financial crime matters
- Support on ad hoc projects relating to financial crime operations
- Maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Review payment flows to identify potential downstream risks
Requirements
- Experience with anti-financial crime regulatory requirements in the UK and Europe
- Strong technical knowledge of - Enhanced Due Diligence and transactional analysis with respect to Corporate entities, MSBs, PSP’s and Virtual asset businesses
- Strong technical knowledge of Payment Channels
- Well-versed in handling complex Enhanced Due Diligence reviews
- The ability to effectively apply a Risk Based Approach
- Experience reviewing payment flows
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong attention to detail and good judgment
- Able to work independently and to appropriately prioritise.
- Relevant professional qualifications (ICA, ACAMS, etc)
