Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 5 years in structuring complex loan financings (particularly acquisition financing and/or restructuring)
- Extensive knowledge of syndicated loans
- Deep understanding of other financing forms, including Schuldscheine (promissory note loans), bonds, high-yield bonds, Term Loan B, unitranche, HoldCo PIK (payment-in-kind), mezzanine, convertible bonds, equity capital increases, leasing, ABS/factoring, borrowing base facilities, and M&A processes
- Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, financial modelling and the calculation of financial ratios
- Experience preparing ratings according to Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s methodologies
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate relevant agreements, in particular syndicated loan agreements, restructuring agreements and security pool arrangements
- Experience in project management of acquisition, sub-investment-grade and restructuring financings
