About the role

Director of Product Management at Nextiva driving AI-powered products for customer experience. Leading cross-functional teams to redefine industry challenges and develop strategic product initiatives.

Responsibilities

Serve as the key liaison between product development teams, including developers, QAs, project managers, and product designers. Build strong relationship across these teams, ensuring alignment and fostering a collaborative environment.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop LLM models that deliver significant business value.
Ensure all AI models are ethical, free from bias, and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
Manage and prioritize AI product initiatives, guiding your development teams in backlog management, sprint planning, and roadmap creation.
Champion the customer’s voice in every product decision.
Work closely with project and development managers to create sprint plans and manage team workloads effectively.
Participate in and drive ideation and discovery sessions.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
15+ years in product management with a strong focus on AI or related fields.
In-depth understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and machine learning models, with experience working closely with data scientists and engineers.
Proven ability to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Expertise in translating these insights into profitable and viable products.
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects swiftly.
Demonstrated leadership in driving product initiatives, with strengths in conflict resolution, accountability, and stakeholder management.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a high proficiency in instructional and technical writing.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
