About the role
- Director overseeing imaging studies within Medical & Scientific Affairs at ICON. Supporting business development by promoting medical imaging in clinical trials and services.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all aspects of imaging for studies related to the IMC Medical & Scientific Affairs group.
- Support business development team by bringing imaging expertise to clients.
- Promote medical imaging in clinical trials and services provided by ICON.
- Provide scientific expertise and guidance to the Commercial Development and Operations teams within IMC.
- Serve as a scientific expert and point of contact for customers.
- Review and provide scientific input on imaging charters and reports.
- Ensure projects meet required imaging endpoints.
- Represent the organization at scientific conventions.
- Collaborate with Marketing to highlight imaging services.
- Conduct sales presentations and maintain strong client relationships.
- Act as an internal consultant, offering training and support.
- Contribute to defining requirements for proprietary imaging software.
- Travel up to approximately 10%.
Requirements
- PHD degree in a relevant field such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is required.
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry supporting imaging for clinical trials
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
- Expertise in data analysis and interpretation, with a focus on translating scientific findings into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives across the organization.
