About the role

• Director of Finance managing budgeting, financial reporting, and accounting operations at Allucent. Collaborating with senior management to create long-term financial strategies and optimize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed metrics reports on the activities/deliverables from the groups managed by the Director and share them with the executive team and board of directors.
• Monitor cash flow, profitability, and capital expenditures to ensure financial stability.
• Lead financial audits and ensure all financial records and reports are accurate.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and efficient resource allocation.
• Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
• Drive financial planning and analysis processes to support informed business decisions.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, investment, and financial optimization.
• Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations for cost management and resource allocation.
• Analyze and implement new development plans and actively participate in the Director team (strategy – leadership – business integration) meetings to identify and implement new area related goals and strategies
• Manage direct reporting staff
• Actively contribute to staff learning & development within the company
• Provide and coordinate Finance training for relevant staff
• Coordinates the annual audit process with independent auditors and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Review, improve and evaluate Finance processes and procedures within the Quality Management System
• Assure strong long-lasting relationships with (future) key accounts
• Support in preparation of new proposals
• Contribute and take part in client evaluations, visits and bid defenses.
• Contribute to other areas of business as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. (Master’s preferred)
• Relevant professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA).
• 15+ years of demonstrable experience within Finance function in a CRO or 5+ years of experience as an Associate Director, or in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong leadership, management, and clear communication skills are essential for interacting with staff and stakeholders.
• Expertise in financial analysis, modeling, accounting, and forecasting is crucial.
• Ability to drive business transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language
• Representative, outgoing and client focused
• Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment of a growing company

• Proficiency with various computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
