About the role

  • Directs and supervises all clinic activities through department heads and administrative support staff.
  • Consults with and advises department managers on a regular basis.
  • Responsible and accountable for all core operations/functions of physician relations, materials management, policies, procedures and operational protocols, regulatory and corporate compliance, staff orientation and competency; patient education; performance improvement planning; and equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Serves as a role model of the leadership principles resulting in positive communication and problem solving.
  • Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional healthful clinic atmosphere.
  • Acts as liaison between owned or managed clinics and other providers, government agencies and third-party payers.
  • Knows and addresses applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintains an accurate and acute knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Assures the development and maintenance of corporate compliance plan for accreditation visits and reviews and updates departmental policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in business or healthcare related field
  • Healthcare Management experience
  • Master's (preferred)
  • 3-5 years clinic management (preferred)
