Responsibilities
Lead our brand identity, voice, and visual design system — build something iconic, flexible, and deeply aligned with our product and vision
Translate complex product thinking into clear, emotional, and human brand expression — across web, product surfaces, campaigns, and marketing content
Build and grow a high-performing brand and visual design team (internal and external)
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Executive leaders to bring Airwallex’s story to life
Develop scalable brand guidelines and systems that empower consistent execution across the company
Raise the craft bar across motion, typography, brand systems, and campaign work
Drive creative direction for major launches, global campaigns, and key brand moments
Coach and support designers in applying consistent brand standards and design quality across surfaces
Help evolve and uphold our design operating principles, and continuously improve process, execution, and visual excellence
Requirements
12+ years of professional work experience across top-tier agency and/or in-house brand design experience
5+ years of experience leading creative brand and visual work aligned with mission and vision, as well as product strategy
A portfolio that shows taste, systems thinking, and campaign-level storytelling
Strategic mindset: you think beyond aesthetics - you understand business, product, and user impact
Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus
