About the role

  • Lead the development of seasonal and evergreen brand strategies and go-to-market approaches across Zales and Banter with tightly aligned cross functional partnership and orchestration
  • Develop a communications strategy that prioritizes launches, campaigns, promotions, and activations to maximize market impact across both brands
  • Oversee the end-to-end development of marketing campaigns in partnership with Creative Directors, agency partners, and internal design teams, ensuring creative work aligns to brand positioning, resonates with target audiences, and delivers performance goals
  • Partner closely with design and merchandising teams to coordinate on product positioning, storytelling, and launch strategies, ensuring seamless integration from concept to market
  • Serve as a champion for both Zales and Banter by uncovering opportunities via having a steady pulse on the consumer insights and data that will further differentiate the brands and drive competitive advantage across all consumer touchpoints
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize marketing performance to inform strategy and improve business outcomes
  • Identify the correct structure of internal, cross-functional touchpoints for effective and streamlined communication across teams
  • Ability to build and craft regular marketing initiative updates to senior leadership
  • Maintain proactive evaluation of current state, gaps and opportunities to build recommendations from findings
  • Demonstrate a passion for developing talent, inspiring high performance, and nurturing an inclusive and collaborative team culture.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of integrated/brand marketing experience (preferably with experience across retail brands)
  • 6+ years of experience with team and cross-functional leadership
  • Proven track record of developing go to market strategies and best-in-class marketing initiatives
  • Highly organized with ability to oversee multiple complex projects and guide team priorities
  • Experience in market analysis and customer insight generation
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including senior leadership
  • Ability to translate consumer, competitive, and cultural insights into actionable strategies
  • Experience leading agency and production partners
  • Experience managing and maintaining budgets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
