About the role

  • Functional Digital Technologies Agile Lead driving digital transformation initiatives at Royal Canin Europe. Collaborating with business leaders to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Drive alignment and execution of the Demand Digital Technology strategy, partnering closely with senior business and digital leaders across Royal Canin Europe
  • Act as a strategic advisor and thought leader, proactively identifying business challenges and opportunities, and leveraging digital solutions to drive measurable business outcomes
  • Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales, e-Conversion, Category, Perfect Stores, Digital and SRM teams) and external partners to achieve shared strategic objectives
  • Champion supporting digital transformation initiatives, influencing senior leadership and stakeholders to embrace innovation, agility, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a key subject matter expert and advocate for digital solutions within Demand, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to stakeholders and project teams
  • Continuously identify opportunities for digital innovation, introducing best practices and emerging technologies from internal and external sources to enhance operational efficiency, agility, and customer experience
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging teams to explore new ideas, technologies, and approaches to embrace continuous improvement and transformation
  • Drive, prioritise, and align the Demand digital roadmap to ensure clear alignment with regional and global strategic priorities
  • Capture, analyse, and prioritise business Demands, translating them into clear IT requirements and project proposals
  • Collaborate closely with the RC Global Digital Delivery team, global Functional IT teams, and external partners to ensure the successful execution and timely delivery of digital initiatives
  • Provide strategic oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring initiatives deliver expected business outcomes, adhere to timelines, and remain within budget
  • Oversee the DT project portfolio for Royal Canin Europe, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, risks, and achievements to effectively drive Steering cycles
  • Oversee the regional digital solutions landscape within Demand, ensuring robust governance, compliance, and operational support are in place in partnership with the Global Digital Operations teams
  • Drive simplification, optimisation, and standardisation of digital solutions to enhance user adoption, reduce complexity, and improve overall operational effectiveness
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of digital solutions, gathering stakeholder feedback and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all digital initiatives comply with internal policies, Mars Five Principles, and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Actively participate in governance forums to ensure adherence to enterprise digital governance frameworks and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent (Digital Technology/IT Degree preferred)
  • MBA or Masters in Business (Desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years working in a Digital Tech related role
  • Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationship including business leaders, DT personnel and project leaders
  • Excellent Story Telling and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of business drivers / processes and ability to relate segment priorities to associated technology
  • Ability to educate non-digitally savvy leadership & staff
  • Learning agility and desire to learn new technology and business
  • Excellent written and verbal skills as well as high interpersonal skills
  • Experience working across multiple levels of an organization
  • Strong problem analysis, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Management, Senior Management exposure
  • Proven track record to get things done in a matrixed organization and influencing without authority
