About the role

  • Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator for Oakland County Transit connecting residents with transit programs. Implementing marketing strategies and managing digital content for community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, campaigns, and materials that promote Oakland County Transit services and initiatives.
  • Create and manage digital content across social media, web, and email platforms to engage the public and strengthen brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with County departments and regional transit providers to coordinate communications and public outreach.
  • Track analytics, evaluate campaign performance, and recommend improvements to increase community engagement and program visibility.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a preferred major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Journalism or related field.
  • Have at least two (2) years of professional full-time work experience in communications, market research, digital marketing or a closely related area.
