About the role

  • Design, develop and produce visual and multimedia assets (audio, video, graphics, artworks, images, motion graphics, animations, interactive media objects) for Learning Design team\n• Ensure all assets align to OES style and templates and promote visual consistency across learning materials\n• Collaborate with internal OES Learning Design team, external academic partners, and suppliers to deliver high-quality graphic design\n• Design templates and content-agnostic graphic assets for rapid reuse by Learning Design team\n• Develop and strengthen guidelines for creating images, interactives and rich-media experiences (file sizes, dimensions, storage, quality)\n• Create customised visual experiences using industry-recognised pedagogy models\n• Work with Lead Digital Designer, Applications Developers and Front-end developers to design content pages and student experiences\n• Define and develop content layout and reusable patterns for purposeful learning design\n• Audit and assess internally built OES graphic content with Quality and Editorial team to ensure on-brand and on-style materials\n• Pursue creative and current trend-aware approaches to learning design images and multimedia\n• Work with internal staff and partners to build enthusiasm for multimedia experiences and eLearning design\n• Support and mentor Junior Digital Designers in industry standards and media production best practice

Requirements

  • Experienced in vector graphic and illustration creation with Adobe Illustrator\n• Experienced in motion design with Adobe Premier Pro and After effects\n• Video and audio editing with Adobe Premier Pro/Audition\n• Image editing and production Adobe Photoshop\n• Experience in designing for online, learner-centered, flexible education\n• Experience in commercial, industry, or academic creative production environments, with demonstrable competencies in OES preferred products and technologies (including but not limited to the Adobe Creative Suite)\n• Experience in product development and market readiness with an eLearning/academic focus\n• Demonstrated experience in innovative design methods and tools for online content delivery\n• Demonstrated ability to pursue innovative approaches to multimedia-rich interactive content development\n• Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment\n• An appropriate graduate tertiary qualification in education or relevant discipline would be highly regarded\n• An appropriate graduate qualification in multimedia/graphic design (experience in educational environments would be highly regarded)
