Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical implementation in support of security processes and systems to meet organizational requirements.
- Contribute to security tooling and automation.
- Contribute to continuous security and compliance monitoring.
- Work with Product Development, SRE, CloudOps, and Corporate IT to ensure security and compliance.
- Work security projects, from conception to completion.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Support security compliance initiatives, audits, and testing from a technical standpoint.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in a DevSecOps, Systems Engineer, or DevOps role with focus on security
- Strong understanding of SDLC and SSDLC concepts
- Experience working in a cross-functional agile development/delivery team
- Extensive, hands on, experience in at least three security domains
- Experience implementing security & security compliance frameworks: (e.g. NIST, ISO27001, CIS, SANS, OWASP, HITRUST, PCI DSS 4.x, SOC 2, StateRAMP/FedRAMP)
- Practical understanding of systems, network, and application concepts and protocols in context of both security and day to day operations
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Shell)
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
- Experience developing REST API or GraphQL integrations
- Hands on experience with at least one IaaS/CSP (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
