About the role

• DevOps Engineer focusing on operations for various platforms and BI solutions at IONOS. Collaborating with teams to enhance cloud infrastructure and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• The focus is on the operations part of our various platforms as well as their further development;
• First point of contact for all topics related to the operation of applications, like data pipelines or platform-related infrastructure processes;
• Basic requirements gathering and analysis for the implementation of additional platform services;
• Coordination with internal/external stakeholders within the organization for solution engineering or ensuring operations;
• Monitoring the operational processes for which you are responsible;
• Continuous and independent further development of operational process definitions;
• Collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines and levels of experience.

Requirements

• Confident handling of Linux systems and environments;
• Practical experience with networking concepts and technologies;
• At least 3 years of practical experience with Python programming and related frameworks;
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies;
• Knowledge of CI/CD technologies;
• Analytical and creative mindset with a structured, team-oriented way of working;
• Open communication style and ability of interacting with colleagues at all levels of the organization;
• High level of initiative, quick comprehension, creativity and enthusiasm for exciting tasks;
• Affinity for familiarizing yourself with complex topics and a structured approach to implementation.
