- Supporting the development and operation of Big Data systems for our clients
- Installation and configuration of complex Big Data environments
- Deployment and operation of software on Big Data systems
- Security management in complex environments (Kerberos, Active Directory)
- Support and incident management for Big Data systems
- Working with cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Automation using tools such as Ansible and Docker
Requirements
- Degree in IT or comparable qualifications (e.g., vocational training)
- Strong knowledge of Big Data architectures and technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Storm)
- Very good Linux skills
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of job scheduling systems
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
