- DevOps Engineer for designing and maintaining Azure-based hybrid cloud infrastructure for a company specializing in nature-based smart city solutions. Leading cloud architecture and mentoring engineers as part of a high-impact team.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate Azure-based and hybrid (cloud + on-prem) infrastructure
- Architect and maintain Kubernetes platforms and workloads
- Provision and manage on-prem servers using Ansible, including monitoring and alerting
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub, following GitOps principles
- Manage Terraform infrastructure codebases and state
- Deploy and operate applications using Helm and ArgoCD
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting across cloud and on-prem systems
- Manage PostgreSQL databases (roles, permissions, backups, performance)
- Own blob storage strategies, including data lifecycle and cost optimization
- Implement security best practices, including Microsoft Entra, SSO, and RBAC
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead incident resolution
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture
- Deep Linux (Ubuntu) systems expertise; experience with Windows environments
- Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and ArgoCD
- Strong understanding of networking (VNETs, firewalls, network policies)
- Experience operating PostgreSQL in production
- Experience with Azure Blob Storage and lifecycle management
- Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Git-based workflows
- Fluent in English
