About the role

  • Key Account Manager responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships in the DGUV service area. Overseeing sales processes and providing strategic support to sales leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts in the service sector (DGUV)
  • Act as the sales contact for your customers from the initial telephone contact through to contract conclusion
  • Handle complaints and manage objections confidently
  • Drive sales activities with a focus on long-term customer retention
  • Contribute to shaping the sales vision and strategic direction
  • Support the Sales Manager with controlling and SAP processes
  • Provide after-sales support and optimize internal processes

Requirements

  • Commercial qualification (e.g., vocational training) and at least 5 years of sales experience in the service sector
  • Experience in the DGUV environment; SAP knowledge is desirable
  • Willingness to travel regionally
  • Valid Class B driving license
  • German at native-speaker level
  • Ideally experience leading a small team
  • Strong communication skills, self-initiative, and a hands-on mentality
