Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Data Quality Strategy
- Work with Data Stewards to define, document and prioritise robust Data Quality rules
- Collaborate with IT colleagues and the wider Data and Analytics team to embed key Data Quality rules
- Undertake diagnostic Data Quality profiling, defect resolution, and root cause analysis
- Help identify and mitigate all key Data Quality risks
- Promote a culture of Data Quality by design
- Aid in the facilitation of and be an active member of the Data Management Group
Requirements
- Good understanding of all aspects of Data Quality
- Experience of assessing and driving improvement in Data Quality
- Experience of taking complex information and translating into easily digestible information for less technical colleagues
- Knowledge of FCA requirements (including individual responsibilities in relation to Consumer Duty)
- Experience of driving continual improvement through agile ways of working
- Strong communication skills, for example conveying information to diverse audiences
- Strong Excel skills as well as competency in PowerPoint, Word and Teams
- Basic SQL and Databricks skills are essential
