Responsibilities
Maintain and support Sun Life’s data in multiple Data Warehouses
Create reports and universes for business partners using different BI applications
Support the ingestion processes in several data integration applications
Analyze and troubleshoot data consumption issues for Sun Life clients
Respond to incident, problem and change management policies and processes
Monitor environments to identify and implement operational improvements
Participate in rotational on-call 24/7 operational support
Requirements
3 - 5 years hand-on experience working as an IT Application/Technical support analyst
3+ years working in a DW/BI environment
Mainframe development experience using TSO, ZEKE, JCL, COBOL
Experience with Business Intelligence(BI) solutions: SAP Tools
Knowledge of Business Objects Universe Designer and Web Intelligence
Experience with Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, flat files
Computer Science degree or certificate, or equivalent, supplemental training
Written communication is clear and concise
Ability to work as part of a virtual team to achieve tangible results
