About the role

  • Serve as subject matter expert for centralization of administrative functions within the Clinical Trials Office and affiliated service centers
  • Provide data analysis, reporting, and visualization focused on financial performance, cost center utilization, and clinical trial metrics
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making (e.g., Dean’s Dashboard initiatives)
  • Collaborate with research leadership, finance, IT, and stakeholders to define data requirements and reporting needs
  • Monitor cost center performance and support budget planning and forecasting
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with institutional standards
  • Support data integration across systems (e.g., iLab, OnCore, financial systems)
  • Present findings and actionable recommendations to leadership and working groups
  • Contribute to process improvement and administrative centralization initiatives and assist in development of data governance and documentation practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, strategic management, project management, or related field
  • Three to four (3-4) years of experience in data analysis
  • Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis
  • Master's degree in business administration, public administration, health administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Project management experience in higher education, healthcare, or academic medicine (preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable certification (preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects with strategic impact
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
  • Background check and compliance with vaccination/medical surveillance policies may be required
