About the role

  • Own and evolve key performance metrics to track and drive company success
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Looker to support cross-functional teams
  • Write and optimise SQL queries in BigQuery to extract actionable insights from the data warehouse
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to automate and streamline reporting processes
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across the stack
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer business questions, inform strategy, and support fundraising efforts
  • Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Report to the Head of Business Intelligence and work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Finance and other teams

Requirements

  • 3–5 years as a Data Analyst with expertise in Looker (LookML, dashboards)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Google BigQuery or similar data warehouses
  • Advanced SQL, Looker for visualisation, familiarity with ETL processes, and understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools (Looker experience is a strong plus)
  • Proficient in tools like Google Sheets, with the ability to build models and automations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bonus: Background in financial services, green energy, or climate tech
  • Bonus: Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
