About the role
- Own and evolve key performance metrics to track and drive company success
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker to support cross-functional teams
- Write and optimise SQL queries in BigQuery to extract actionable insights from the data warehouse
- Collaborate with stakeholders to automate and streamline reporting processes
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across the stack
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer business questions, inform strategy, and support fundraising efforts
- Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Report to the Head of Business Intelligence and work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Finance and other teams
Requirements
- 3–5 years as a Data Analyst with expertise in Looker (LookML, dashboards)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Google BigQuery or similar data warehouses
- Advanced SQL, Looker for visualisation, familiarity with ETL processes, and understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools (Looker experience is a strong plus)
- Proficient in tools like Google Sheets, with the ability to build models and automations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bonus: Background in financial services, green energy, or climate tech
- Bonus: Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis
- Bonus: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
