Support Business (Product, Marketing and Commercial) functions to understand more about client and partner behaviour through recurring and ad-hoc investigations
Extract, process, and manage data from various sources using dbt, ensuring high data quality, reliability, and consistency for downstream analysis.
Analyse sales performance, client acquisition funnels, and retention metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with Business Development teams to define data requirements and provide analytical insights for strategic initiatives.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, client lifetime value, and revenue growth.
Conduct A/B testing and evaluate the impact of business changes on KPIs such as conversion, retention, and trading volume.
Conduct segmentation and clustering analysis to identify high-value client groups and optimize targeting strategies.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support pricing strategies, campaign effectiveness, and partnership evaluations.
Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.
Requirements
2+ years in data analytics (preferably in financial services, trading, or brokerage) with a proven track record of supporting commercial teams
Strong experience with sales and marketing analytics, including funnel analysis and revenue attribution.
SQL, Python (for data analysis and modeling), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and CRM analytics (Salesforce or similar).
Experience of Redshift, dbt and Snowflake are desirable
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and data engineering principles is a plus.
Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
Strong ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work closely with Sales, Business Development, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
