About the role

  • Serve as a liaison between Medlogix and customers including insurance carriers, employers, medical providers, insureds, and colleagues
  • Answer incoming calls through multiple phone queues and address inquiries for multiple lines of business and services
  • Perform First Report of Injury (FROI) input and distribution and Auto intake/system updates
  • Process precertification discrepancies and medical bill repricing inquiries
  • Perform claim intake processes including dissemination of information to multiple parties
  • Process claim demographic updates received from adjusters via electronic claim messaging system
  • Access various databases as necessary to obtain information to assist callers
  • Communicate/interact with other Medlogix departments to address inquiries and matters requiring resolution
  • Handle calls of a more complex or urgent nature and document all phone calls in call management database
  • Meet individual and team goals to achieve required service level agreements and perform QA protocols as necessary to ensure SLAs are achieved

Requirements

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply
  • High School Diploma required
  • College Diploma Preferred
  • Two plus years of Customer Service experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
  • Accurate typing and computation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • NJ/Auto/PIP insurance knowledge a plus
  • Provider/Hospital medical billing knowledge a plus
