About the role

  • Drive Customer Retention: Craft and deliver compelling, targeted communications across email, SMS, and push notifications that resonate with users of both Smarkets and SBK.
  • Own Campaign Execution: Manage the end-to-end process for customer campaigns, from strategic testing and scheduling to flawless deployment via our ESP.
  • Turn Data into Action: Partner with our Data Analysts to meticulously track campaign performance against KPIs. You'll use these insights to refine our approach and report on weekly, monthly, and annual results.
  • Master Customer Segmentation: Dive deep into our customer data to develop and manage sophisticated segmentation, ensuring we send the right message to the right user at the right time—whether they're new, active, or lapsed.
  • Shape the Customer Journey: Assist in managing and optimising our automated lifecycle campaigns, creating a seamless experience from user onboarding and retention right through to churn prevention and reactivation.
  • Champion a 'Test and Learn' Culture: Collaborate with our talented design team to constantly optimise our campaigns. You'll develop a robust testing strategy, experimenting with everything from send times and templates to creative content.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working within CRM and Email Marketing
  • Proven track record in working with databases and user segmentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management with the ability to manage projects and prioritise
  • A team player who shares our values
