About the role
- Creative Producer leading the creative process from script to screen at Codeway's DramaPops. Overseeing production quality and maintaining storytelling standards across multiple series.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative process of multiple vertical series (short drama) productions from concept to final delivery.
- Develop and refine scripts with writers, ensuring every episode has the right pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers.
- Collaborate with production houses, directors, and editors to maintain DramaPops’ signature style and quality.
- Oversee casting, shooting, and post-production, ensuring storytelling and visuals fit the vertical format perfectly.
- Stay ahead of trends in storytelling, from competitor platforms to web novels.
Requirements
- A creative powerhouse who understands drama, pacing, and emotional storytelling.
- Experienced in film, or TV production, preferably with digital platforms.
- Skilled in working with writers, directors, and editors under tight timelines.
- Obsessed with cliffhangers, twists, and addictive storylines.
- Organized, proactive, and collaborative—a true producer who can bring chaos into order.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Have a strong understanding of romance genre.
- Background in screenwriting or story development is a plus.
- Ambitious and eager to keep learning the evolving art of vertical storytelling.
