About the role

  • Define and champion brand voice, messaging, and storytelling across all client accounts.
  • Guide and inspire copywriters, ensuring concepts and executions are fresh, persuasive, and strategically aligned.
  • Balance oversight with execution — leading the development of messaging platforms and scripts while writing and refining copy yourself when necessary.
  • Lead the development of big ideas, campaign narratives, and messaging frameworks.
  • Write and edit across a range of deliverables: TV, digital, social, experiential, radio, print, OOH, and branded content.
  • Present and sell ideas with confidence, articulating the creative and strategic rationale behind copy choices.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior clients, building alignment on brand voice and messaging direction.
  • Partner with art directors and designers to ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly together.
  • Work with strategy to turn insights into compelling narratives and campaign platforms.
  • Mentor and grow copywriters, editors, and junior creative talent, elevating their craft and confidence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of agency experience
  • Proven track record in copywriting, brand storytelling, and conceptual development
  • At least 3+ years in a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or senior copy leadership role
  • Portfolio showcasing award-winning, strategically driven copy across integrated campaigns
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Strong storytelling and concepting ability across multiple formats and platforms
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proven experience building, mentoring, and leading creative teams.
