About the role

  • Creative Director leading local creative initiatives for Spotify in Brazil with a focus on music culture. Overseeing marketing strategies and execution beyond local projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creative vision for Spotify brand initiatives in Brazil, from strategic concept through final execution
  • Lead and develop local Creative and Production teams, setting clear standards for craft, collaboration, timelines, and budget management
  • Ensure creative excellence across campaigns, content, and experiences — delivering work that is on brief, on budget, and on time
  • Translate global and regional strategies into locally resonant campaigns, social content, video, artist programs, editorial moments, and platform experiences
  • Build and nurture a strong ecosystem of creative partners and vendors, raising the bar on quality, cultural relevance, and execution
  • Serve as the primary creative decision-maker in market, balancing ambition, budget, and timelines with thoughtful judgment
  • Partner closely with local, regional, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and cohesive brand expression
  • Contribute to broader Latin American initiatives where Brazil’s creative leadership and cultural insight add value

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience leading creative work within music, culture, entertainment, or adjacent industries
  • Deep knowledge of the Brazil market and a strong understanding of its cultural landscape
  • Ability to translate brand and marketing strategy into compelling, original creative ideas
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary creative and production teams with accountability for quality, cost, and delivery
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make clear decisions when priorities are in tension
  • Effective collaboration across marketing, partnerships, and global teams
  • Commitment to craft, cultural authenticity, and inclusive storytelling
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments and embrace change with focus and clarity
