About the role
- Plan and execute ConnectWise CPQ platforms from requirements to implementation and support
- Gather requirements and design technical and functional specifications
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize in conjunction with business and partner needs
- Coordinate development efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Aid partners in product navigation and find effective solutions
- Provide support to the Product Management team, including researching, analyzing, and documenting findings
- Coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members as needed
- Define and drive business plan, strategy, and product positioning aligned to corporate growth strategy
- Proactively identify market opportunities and analyze competitive landscape and trends
- Interact with customers and prospects to define market requirements and communicate needs to development team
- Monitor product performance to evaluate adoption rates, user experience, and production issues
- Represent ConnectWise in partner engagements, events, conferences, and other venues
Requirements
- Ability to manage large projects and processes independently with limited supervision
- Product Management experience with a CPQ SAS product
- Recognized subject matter expert of applicable work area
- Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business and partner requirements
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical partners
- Ability to work in rapid pace environment with multiple projects, while maintaining high quality work
- Demonstrated commitment to partner and team-oriented management
- Familiarity with software development, database, server/client, and similar technical concepts
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product management
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of MSP industry
- Preferred: Knowledge of Agile Methodology, software development life cycle, and Atlassian Product Suite
- Bachelor's degree in related field or related business experience
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Preferred: Experience in ConnectWise PSA application, Salesforce, NetSuite
