About the role
- Corporate Counsel providing legal support to Autodesk's product teams in the AEC industry, engaging with business stakeholders and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide a broad range of legal support to desktop and cloud development teams
- Partner with business on strategic partnerships, M&A, and integration projects
- Engage with team members across various functions including product management and AI/ML experts
- Draft, review and negotiate various agreements critical to product teams
- Support product development, readiness, and release addressing legal and regulatory issues
- Help develop and implement programs for policy and process improvements
- Support M&A activities focusing on intellectual property and go-to-market issues
Requirements
- JD (Juris Doctorate) degree from an ABA accredited university
- 4+ years of experience providing legal support to software and cloud service businesses
- interest in AI/ML, intellectual property, data use and technology transactions
- collaborative team player
- preferably a background in engineering/applied science/computer science
- preferably experience with privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
