About the role

• Compliance Officer overseeing compliance requirements and risk management at epay. Collaborating with departments to enhance compliance structures in payment services.

Responsibilities

• The position we are hiring for will report directly to our Managing Director, Dr. Samareh Khosravi, and plays a central role in ensuring our legal and regulatory compliance.
• Responsibility for monitoring and implementing compliance requirements.
• Support business units in complying with regulatory obligations.
• Development of training programs and monitoring measures.
• Close collaboration with various departments and influence on the ongoing development of our compliance management.

Requirements

• Education & Qualification: You hold a degree in a relevant field, ideally supplemented by additional training in compliance or risk management.
• Experience: You have several years of experience in a legal or regulatory environment and are familiar with compliance requirements.
• Regulatory Know-how: You possess comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations and ethical standards, along with a strong understanding of risk management.
• Analytical Competence: You identify regulatory changes early and proactively implement adjustments to compliance processes.
• Communication Strength: You can convey complex issues clearly and understandably and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• IT & Data Management: You have very good skills in processing and managing compliance-relevant data and using IT-supported monitoring systems.
• Language Skills: You communicate confidently in German and English, both written and spoken.
