About the role

  • Assist in and/or lead the preparation and management of inspections, audits, and reviews conducted by regulatory bodies.
  • Create, maintain, and revise internal policies and procedures to ensure the business meets its regulatory obligations.
  • Provide compliance advice to all business units, ensuring operational activities are aligned with licensing conditions and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the training and competency framework, ensuring all employees are equipped with up-to-date compliance knowledge.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Monitor and assess compliance risks across the business, escalating findings where necessary.
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews and prepare reports on adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Deliver compliance training and awareness sessions across departments to promote best practices.
  • Investigate compliance breaches or incidents, recommend corrective actions, and oversee follow-up.
  • Support the Head of Compliance in developing strategic initiatives, risk assessments, and continuous improvement of compliance processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a compliance role within iGaming operations
  • Direct experience with regulated markets such as Malta, Ontario, Netherlands, and/or Estonia considered a strong advantage
  • Good working knowledge of international iGaming regulations, licensing conditions, and responsible gambling obligations
  • Experience preparing for and managing regulatory inspections or audits
  • Familiarity with AML, KYC, GDPR, and responsible gambling frameworks
  • Degree in Law, Business, Compliance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements clearly
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure
  • Proactive, self-disciplined, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong sense of integrity, accountability, and discretion
