About the role

  • Manage the performance of Statutory Undertakers/Works Promoters operating on Gloucestershire County Council’s network
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
  • Work closely with various stakeholders such as local authorities, transport agencies, and utility contractor companies
  • Act as the County Council representative at Regional JAG / HAUC and national meetings as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Street works
  • Strong understanding of relevant systems, regulations and principles
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in relevant street works software
  • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions
  • Professional qualified in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
