About the role

  • Support compensation program strategy, design, implementation, and administration with limited guidance
  • Complete job evaluations and benchmark internal positions
  • Present compensation recommendations to business leaders and partners
  • Recommend career level, salary grade and compensation targets when appropriate
  • Support analysis, design, and implementation of incentive plan designs
  • Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management and Business Executives on compensation and incentive plans
  • Ensure compliance with Sound Compensation Program, governance, risk requirements, and relevant regulations and laws
  • Partner with HR and Finance on the annual compensation process
  • Complete analytics and present findings to HR partners and business leaders
  • Monitor legislative developments and market trends for incentive programs
  • May perform compliance testing of applicable risk related controls for compensation or benefits programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with KeyBank policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (required) — Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline (preferred)
  • 3+ years HR, Finance or related field with an analytical focus (required)
  • Skilled & experienced in building Microsoft Excel analysis and graphs
  • Skilled in combining data from multiple sources and troubleshooting in Excel
  • Proficient in creating Microsoft PowerPoint presentations
  • Self-starter and self-learner of new skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong results orientation and attention to detail
  • Critical Thinking, Influence, Problem Solving, Collaboration, Adaptability
  • Analytical Thinking, Business Acumen, Change Navigation
  • Oral & Written Communication and Constructive Debate skills
  • Ability to comply with KeyBank policies and procedures

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $83,000 to $102,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors
  • Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance
  • Eligibility for deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance
