About the role
- Junior Environmental Analyst in Arcadis conducting field work and soil analyses. Collaborating on sustainable solutions for natural and built assets in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Description of soils, sediments and tailings, and support with sampling of solid matrices;
- Field mapping;
- Writing reports, briefs and presentations;
- Regular field work;
- Availability to work in the field up to 5×/week when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Geography or Geological Engineering;
- Intermediate English;
- Knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, Microsoft Office; Power BI (desirable);
- Experience or exposure to borehole logging/soil descriptions (soils, sediments, tailings) — knowledge of soil and solid‑matrix geochemistry — national and state environmental legislation on contaminated site management;
- Valid Class B driver's license (non‑provisional) with more than 2 years' definitive status
