  • Learn from, shadow, and collaborate on projects with ERA’s Strategic Communications Team
  • Social media content creation, video creation and editing, graphic design
  • Digital marketing trends monitoring and digital communications data collection and analysis
  • Communications campaign strategy development
  • Event planning/support
  • Drafting copy for digital and marketing platforms
  • Narrative shifting through community storytelling
  • Work independently on projects as well as in collaboration with others
  • Build professional connections and portfolio content

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old or undergraduate student
  • Preference for undergraduate students planning to pursue a career in nonprofit work, public policy, or public service
  • Studying communications, marketing, multimedia, public relations, digital media/graphic design, nonprofit management, political science, or related field preferred
  • Not pursuing an undergraduate degree considered if at least 18 and strong interest in nonprofit communications
  • Demonstrated interest in and commitment to civil rights, gender equity, and social justice
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Canva preferred
  • Experience with video creation or editing preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work well collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
