About the role

  • Collateral Analyst I working with the Collateral Management team to locate and recover vehicle collateral. Utilizing skip tracing tools to negotiate terms for delinquent accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update DFC repossession log with accuracy
  • Assign repossession vehicles to 3rd party recovery agents in a timely manner
  • Utilize high level skip-tracing practices to obtain customer and vehicle location information
  • Consistently update 3rd party vendors with most recent location data for assigned collateral
  • Navigate and update 3rd party repossession assignment systems
  • Make outbound collection attempts by phone, mail, and e-mail to resolve delinquent accounts in an ethically responsible manner
  • Meet or exceed established call volume and account action requirements
  • Process recovery cost analysis & KBB for recovered vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication
  • PC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)
  • Experience with outbound calls or collections is valuable
  • Knowledge of Skip Tracing techniques is preferred
