About the role
- Lead end-to-end migration of applications and infrastructure from on-premises to AWS in collaboration with development teams.
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architecture (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, EKS).
- Build CI/CD pipelines and implement Kubernetes workflows using ArgoCD.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using IaC.
- Operate and support the cloud platform and data-processing services.
- Coordinate with technical contacts and external bodies (e.g., district court/SCHUFA) as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering with strong AWS expertise.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in CI/CD tools and ArgoCD.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch.
- Experience supporting development teams in cloud migration projects.
- Experience in data processing; ideally background in payment processing or bank data control.
- Strong communication skills in German.
- Must have a valid work permit; no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
