About the role
- Lead Cloud Engineer providing technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to the team
- Create comprehensive runbooks and develop reliability Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Build & manage container platform with GKE on GCP
- Manage lifecycle of GKE addons (Anthos Service Mesh), security tools, instrumentation and observability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, other SRE and support teams) to rollout new features
- Implement best practices to meet internal SLA/SLOs of the platform
- Operate and improve enterprise-grade container platform hosting critical and core services
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in Kubernetes Platform
- 3-4 years of Scripting/Automation experience in one of the following: Python/Shell
- 2-3 years of experience with Terraform
- Experience with Jenkins and other CI/CD tools (nice to have)
- Knowledge of GKE & GCP Services (nice to have)
- Prior experience handling large scale Kubernetes platform (nice to have)
- Ability to provide technical leadership, create runbooks and develop SOPs
- Experience implementing reliability best practices (SLA/SLO) and observability
- Experience collaborating with Product, SRE and support teams
- English language proficiency implied by international company communication
