About the role
- Energy Manager responsible for developing energy management systems and supporting efficiency measures within SEMCO group. Involves project management and sustainability efforts aligned with CSRD.
Responsibilities
- Further development of the Energy Management System (EnMS) according to DIN EN ISO 50001 within the SEMCO Group
- Preparation and support for internal and external audits
- Establishment and maintenance of an energy KPI system to manage energy efficiency
- Support the sites in reducing energy consumption and implementing efficiency measures
- Assessment of energy-saving potentials for investments as well as central analysis and documentation of relevant consumptions (e.g., electricity, gas, water)
- Management of cross-site energy management projects and conducting benchmarking
- Development of practical standards and processes to optimize energy efficiency and operational safety
- Support in the area of sustainability, particularly in the context of the CSRD and related reporting obligations
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Strong knowledge of ISO 50001
- Excellent technical understanding and the ability to present complex interrelationships clearly and in a structured manner
- Strong numerical affinity and experience in project management
- Strong communication and facilitation skills and a confident manner in dealing with different stakeholder groups
- High degree of independence, sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
- Willingness to travel regularly within the SEMCO Group
- Ideally additional qualification as an Energy Efficiency Consultant (m/f/d) or Certified Energy Manager and professional experience in a similar role
