About the role

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements
  • Analyze and interpret data related to P&C insurance
  • Work closely with the data engineering team to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Utilize SQL to query, analyze, and manipulate data
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of solutions
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure the integrity of analytical outputs
  • Perform gap analyses and propose system enhancements
  • Support the creation of training materials and user documentation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data practices and workflows within the team

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in the Information Technology area
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within the P&C insurance industry
  • Proven proficiency in SQL for querying, data analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
