About the role
- Software Systems Engineer developing software for integrated navigation bridge systems in naval applications. Analyzing requirements and deploying system software with a focus on quality and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and derive requirements for the software portion of an integrated navigation bridge system, taking into account synergies across multiple projects
- Implement system software based on the specified architecture, requirements, and regulations as part of the overall system solution
- Deploy and integrate the system software into development, reference, and target systems, and support commissioning
- Share know-how and develop best practices for creating, implementing, and validating software solutions within a system, also for other NSC projects
- Support service and final acceptance testing by organizing fault analysis and resolution

Requirements
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and have professional experience in software development and deployment of complex systems
- You have experience in requirements engineering and requirements management
- Ideally, you already have extensive knowledge in assembling and configuring navigation-bridge software based on Synapsis
- You possess strong abstraction and analytical thinking skills, as well as a quality-conscious and professionally flexible working style
- You are eager to work in the exciting field of NSC and willing to take responsibility for specific subject areas
