About the role
- Technical Consultant advising clients on product portfolio and market processes in telecommunications IT. Collaborates with various departments and documents solutions for client projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice to customers and prospects on the product portfolio during proposal and concept phases
- Advise customers and prospects on standard wholesale and wholebuy market processes
- Identify customer requirements and determine necessary adaptations for the product portfolio, and develop additional solution concepts where needed
- Prepare service descriptions, effort estimates and support the bid process (e.g. tenders), and hand over results to customer project implementation
- Work closely with Sales, Project Management and Service Management
- Document requirements, solution approaches and standards to preserve know-how
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification
- Experience in technical consulting or pre-sales, preferably in the IT / telecom / digitalization environment
- Good knowledge of technical architectures, integration scenarios and solution design
- Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly — both technically and strategically
- Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills and self-motivation
- Experience with project management and service processes is an advantage
- Excellent German skills, good English skills
