Technical Consultant advising clients on product portfolio and market processes in telecommunications IT. Collaborates with various departments and documents solutions for client projects.
Responsibilities
Provide technical advice to customers and prospects on the product portfolio during proposal and concept phases
Advise customers and prospects on standard wholesale and wholebuy market processes
Identify customer requirements and determine necessary adaptations for the product portfolio, and develop additional solution concepts where needed
Prepare service descriptions, effort estimates and support the bid process (e.g. tenders), and hand over results to customer project implementation
Work closely with Sales, Project Management and Service Management
Document requirements, solution approaches and standards to preserve know-how
Requirements
Degree in (business) computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification
Experience in technical consulting or pre-sales, preferably in the IT / telecom / digitalization environment
Good knowledge of technical architectures, integration scenarios and solution design
Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly — both technically and strategically
Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills and self-motivation
Experience with project management and service processes is an advantage
Excellent German skills, good English skills
