Grow a portfolio of profitable work with assigned Defence maritime industry organisations
Work with the Market Group Manager to develop strategies to grow the sector across consultancy and Ventures lines of business
Work with capability, Delivery and Strategy functions to identify capability and capacity growth areas and develop potential new services
Act as sales and business development lead, managing bids and client relationships
Oversee business development planning and associated activities
Develop and maintain close working relationships with a network of clients associated with the sector
Identify, characterise and capture opportunities to deliver the business
Work with resource managers to identify, secure and maintain required skills and experience
Requirements
Market knowledge of the sector, holding key relationships across the client base, supply chain and knowledge of our competitors
Significant commercial experience and business acumen having secured and led large scale commercial contracts for numerous clients within the sector client base
Experience creating supply chains with a diverse set of subcontractors
A highly effective communicator able to operate right across the business in support of whole company strategy
Willingness/ability to undergo pre-employment screening and satisfy UK National Security Vetting clearance criteria
