Identify, scope, and develop new business opportunities and markets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regional sales, TS, Global marketing, and AR teams to translate innovation into market-ready solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis focused on regional customer needs, emerging trends, and innovation gaps.
Develop compelling proposals and presentations translating scientific proof of concepts and trial results to secure new business and partnerships.
Negotiate commercial agreements in line with company objectives.
Act as a regional ambassador for Novonesis' innovation culture, driving customer-centricity and enterprise thinking.
Monitor innovation impact and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Travel extensively within the MEIA region to engage customers and partners directly.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Business, or related fields.
Minimum 10 - 13 years of experience in business development, preferably in industrial biotechnology, agricultural processing, biosolutions, or related industries.
Proven track record in managing innovation pipelines and delivering business outcomes.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with regional market experience in MEIA.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently with entrepreneurial mindset and high energy.
Comfortable with frequent travel and working in a matrix organisation.
