About the role

  • Help identify, qualify, and position the firm for federal prime contract awards.
  • Lead BD efforts focusing on strategy, opportunity shaping, and capture planning.
  • Build relationships, develop winning proposals, and drive capture strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align growth strategies with technical capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in federal business development and capture management
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, 8(a)/EDWOSB/SDVOSB strategies, and common contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, BPA, IDIQ)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in proposal development
  • Proven track record of building partnerships and closing federal business
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and BD tracking tools
