About the role

  • Act as the local face and voice of Beatport Tickets in the UK; identify opportunities and build partnerships
  • Market research & lead generation: collect and synthesize intelligence on the UK club and festival market; identify, qualify, and maintain a pipeline of promoters, festivals and venues; monitor trends and regional dynamics
  • Sales & partnership development: present and position Beatport Tickets as a leading solution; build and maintain relationships with promoters and venues; develop tailored business proposals and close commercial agreements; represent Beatport Tickets at industry events
  • Coordination & strategic input: align with Head of Ticketing on sales targets, growth strategy, and prioritization; collaborate with marketing, content, and brand teams to support local partner campaigns; feed UK market insights into the global Beatport Tickets roadmap; help activate cross-platform opportunities with Beatport’s other services
  • Report to the Head of Ticketing and work closely with other teams across The Beatport Group
  • Part-time role (20 hours per week) with flexible hours and high autonomy; at least 1 day per week working from the London office

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or ticketing sales
  • Deep understanding of ticketing platforms and the needs of promoters and venues
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and drive results in a part-time setup
  • Passion for electronic music and alignment with Beatport’s mission and culture
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Nice to have: Previous experience at a ticketing company, event brand, club, or agency
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems
  • Nice to have: Understanding of digital marketing and audience engagement in nightlife
  • Nice to have: Strong network within the UK electronic music, nightlife, and event promotion scene
  • Willingness/ability to commute at least 1x per week to the Farringdon EC1M 3JB office (London)
