About the role
- Managing business continuity and IKS for qards, a leading payment processing company in Germany. Ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting risk analyses, and developing contingency plans.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a company-wide emergency and crisis management system and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., MaRisk)
- Perform business impact and risk analyses
- Support business units in creating and updating business continuity and emergency plans
- Conduct and evaluate contingency/emergency tests
- Responsible for maintaining and further developing the internal control system (IKS)
- Organize and support IKS audits by external auditors
- Identify control gaps and develop and track action plans
Requirements
- Ideally a degree in economics/business administration or a commercial vocational qualification plus initial professional experience
- Experience in process optimization
- Excellent German language skills, spoken and written (min. C1 level)
- Strong quality focus and an affinity for compliance-oriented work and documentation
- High analytical ability and a structured way of working
- Ability to work cross-functionally and to mediate between competing interests
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the other site (Munich or Saarbrücken)
