Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Banking Account Managers, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and strong employee engagement.
Oversee account management activities for Business Banking portfolios, ensuring consistent and proactive client support.
Achieve portfolio growth targets.
Analyze and report on teams performance to quantitative and qualitative goals, including attrition, retention, cross-sell and referrals to Bank Partner with Business Banking and Business Banking Payments leaders to strengthen collaboration and enhance client experience.
Act as a key liaison between account management and senior management and senior leadership, ensuring alignment on strategy, performance, and client needs.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and client-first service within the account management team.
Drive process improvements, identify opportunities for efficiency, and ensure consistent execution of best practices.
Maintain strong business banking knowledge and external awareness to support clients effectively and advise team members on deepening payments only portfolio.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
7+ years of experience in account management, business banking, or related financial services.
3+ years of experience in a people leadership role, preferably in banking or financial services.
Strong understanding of Business Banking sales process, partner engagement, and client portfolio management.
Ability to collaborate and influence effectively at all levels, including senior leaders.
Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams.
Strong communication skills with an executive presence.
Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
