Business Analyst translating client functional requirements into the Planview Platform. Supporting deployment and driving process improvements for a dynamic team in the Philippines.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Client Engagement Lead, the Business Analyst works within a team of three and is responsible for core configuration structures as well as translating client functional requirements into the Planview Platform.
When required, the Business Analyst will also support the Delivery Services Director by providing subject matter expertise, including pre-sales and sales support
Work closely with the delivery and technical teams to advise on the best possible solution aligned to the clients’ requirements, challenging current practice to drive innovation in the deployments
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Pro-actively supports and when required manages and leads the delivery of customer-focused workshops, showing agility, flexibility and a capability to be creative in solutioning, whilst aligning to the company’s line of business products and services.
Supports the technical team in the client escalation for all implementations
Manages and works closely with the company’s Functional services team (Client Engagement Lead, PPM Analyst) and the technical team (Technical PPM Analysts, BI and Integration Analysts)
Become a subject matter expert on Planview Portfolios, to enable the capability to advise and instruct on the optimum configuration required against the client’s business requirements
Act as the lead BA consultant to deliver subject matter expertise in both a pre-sales context and on delivery engagements. Execute projects according to the agreed work plan under direction of the Client engagement lead, and where necessary, direct delivery consultants in their delivery tasks and · ensure quality outcomes for our customers as a result
Provide project status information to the delivery managers or project managers, including risk identification, task delay and task completion estimates. Validate with the project or delivery manager that the completion expectations have been met
Proactively alert Project teams of potential problems based upon your strong working knowledge of the Planview solution within the customer's environment
Responsible for directing and reviewing comprehensive documentation around solution design and project delivery. Works closely with technical team to fully understand the design and implementation to be delivered to the customer
Identify, analyse, and manage technical risks within consultancy engagements, projects, assisting to make strategic decisions on what will be the most effective use of resources
Participate in strategic project review sessions to share materials or lessons learned with the wider team in the company. The BA play a critical role in the knowledge feedback loop within refining existing solutions and the creation of new service offerings
Develop skills and work with the Client Engagement Lead to attend prescribed or requested training, demonstrating accountability for maintaining strong performance and a commitment to ongoing learning and development
Provide guidance to client teams or third-party partners to collaborate and implement the technical solution, build mutual support and develop an understanding with colleagues across functions
Supports the PPM Analyst in preparing, maintains and submitting activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with the company’s procedures
Assist in or be responsible for the creation of knowledge management articles and perform all knowledge management tasks in accordance with defined processes, procedures and personal KPIs
Effectively always represent the company in a professional manner to the customer
Mentor Technical and Functional team staff within specialist areas
Willingness to work on a flexible schedule and travel where required
Requirements
At least 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Experience within the IT Industry/financial/Other services or in business consulting.
Experience with large scale digital transformations.
Exposure to strategy development and roadmap formulation
Experience delivering major business solutions
Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and a passion for optimizing business processes
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Strong documentation skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (preferred)
Certification as a consultant or equivalent accreditation in a specialist area (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, PMI, Agile, Scrum)
Knowledge of network solutions, operating systems, and technology integration across both infrastructure and application aspects
Understanding of multiple technology platforms
Knowledge and experience with related computer applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge or experience working with PPM solutions (highly advantageous)
Familiarity with financial systems and general financial management principles
